Solberg ready to attack on day two

Rally Jordan finally got underway today and started with SS7 after the cancellation of Thursday’s first leg due to the delayed arrival of the teams’ trucks and equipment.

Petter Solberg performed well on Friday’s six stages, setting the fastest time on SS8 and ending the day in fourth overall. He is only seconds behind Latvala and Loeb, and 35 seconds behind race leader Ogier.

“It’s worked very well today”, says the Norwegian. “And I’m happy with the start position for tomorrow. I stalled at the start of stage 11 and lost some time there. I’m going for a big attack tomorrow!”

Rally Jordan continues with eight stages on Saturday. The first car will be on the road from 0820 local time.
