Maybe a transmission fault

Patrick Snijers suspects a transmission fault caused his minor delay on the ninth stage of the Geko Ypres Rally, round six of the Intercontinental Rally Challenge.
The Belgian veteran could only manage the 10th fastest time through the Kemmelberg test in his Peugeot 207 Super 2000.
Prior to entering Saturday’s second service in Ypres, Snijers said: “I thought it was a slow puncture because the car felt very strange at the rear and we kept locking the brakes. It was really oversteering and was very bad on the road section coming back to here. Hopefully we have the time in service to find out what the problem is and repair it.”
Snijers, a four-time Ypres winner, is sixth overall 26.2s down on Andreas Mikkelsen’s M-Sport Ford Fiesta S2000.
