Citroen heroes Sebastien Loeb and Sebastien Ogier have claimed a win apiece on the two runs through the day-closing superspecial stage in Leon tonight.
Loeb was fastest on the first run - stage nine - 0.2s quicker than Petter Solberg, to trim Ogier’s overall advantage to 1.1s. However, Ogier hit back on the second run - stage 10 - to beat Loeb by 1.2s and take a lead of 2.3s into day two of the event.
The result means that Citroen’s DS3 WRC has been fastest on all 10 stages run so far.
Crews are now making the short journey from Leon’s race circuit - venue of the two superspecial stages - to Leon’s Poliforum exhibition centre for the overnight halt.
