The fifth stage of Sata Rallye Açores, the 7.47-kilometre Feteiras run, has been cancelled on the grounds of safety. Organisers made the decision due to the presence of livestock on the road. Crews will now head to the Sete Cidades stage, which is due to get underway at 11:08hrs local time.
Rain is falling on the mid-Atlantic island of São Miguel, where the sixth round of the Intercontinental Rally Challenge is taking place. Drivers are also reporting the possibility of fog on the sixth stage, which runs around the rim of a non-active volcano.
Juho Hänninen is leading the event from Andreas Mikkelsen by 6.7s.
