SS3: Loix second, Hänninen grows lead

Škoda Motorsport’s Juho Hänninen has extended his lead of Rallye Monte-Carlo to 45.2 seconds after claiming his second stage win of the Intercontinental Rally Challenge qualifier.

Freddy Loix, who has won more IRC events than any other driver, has moved into second place ahead of Peugeot France’s Stéphane Sarrazin, who lost time on the 25.22-kilometre St Bonnet Le Froid stage when his intercom failed approximately halfway through the run.

Crews are now heading to service in Lalouvesc before the St Bonnet Le Froid stage is repeated at 16:17hrs local time.
