Petter Solberg sealed a successful afternoon in Bulgaria on SS10 with a third consecutive stage victory and the promise of an exciting battle with Dani Sordo for second place on Sunday.
Solberg took another 4.9sec from Sordo’s advantage on the 24km Lyubnitsa stage - which should have run in the morning as SS7 but was cancelled because of spectator problems. Ahead of tomorrow’s final day Solberg trails the Spaniard by just 4.7sec.
Sebastien Loeb was Solberg’s closest rival though Lyubnitsa, in a time 1.1sec slower, while Sebastien Ogier was third fastest.
