Prema stops Formula Renault 3.5

Prema Powerteam will not appear on the Formula Renault 3.5 grid next year. Prema made an arrangement with Fortec Motorsport, who take the slot.

Last year, Prema finished at the bottom of the ranking. This year they will focus on the F3 Euro Series and Italian F3.

Prema team manager Rene Rosin : "The European junior open-wheel racing scene is changing these days and Prema is called to refocus and optimise its resources for the future"

"For this reason, we’re ending operations in Formula Renault 3.5 and concentrating on the F3 championships that we’ve been involved in over the last 20 years. Our stint in the World Series has been great and we leave with several trophies won and some valuable memories."
