Penalties for Palmer and Coletti

Jolyon Palmer and Stefano Coletti have been handed 20 second time penalties after the race stewards determined that they overtook under yellow flags during this morning’s sprint race in Hockenheim.

Late in the race local yellow flags were shown at turn 12 as a result of Giancarlo Serenelli’s accident, when the pair were in the middle of a big battle for the final points positions. As a result, they will lose seventh and eighth place respectively, with Davide Valsecchi and Nigel Melker promoted into the positions.
