Paddon wins Production title
"It’s awesome"
Hayden Paddon has been crowned the provisional Production Car world champion for 2011 after topping the class on Rally Australia.
Driving a Subaru Impreza, Paddon and co-driver John Kennard made it four wins in a row to clinch the title with two events remaining.
He said: “It’s been absolutely perfect. A few months ago we had no money and no campaign but thanks to the people back home in New Zealand we’ve come here and won the title. It’s awesome and we’ll try as hard as we can to come back next year in something bigger and better.”
