Nutahara wants to tackle more IRC events

Fumio Nutahara has said he enjoyed taking part on Barum Czech Rally Zlín last month to the extent he wants to tackle more rounds of the Intercontinental Rally Challenge in the future.

Nutahara, finished 24th overall on the all-asphalt competition at the wheel of a Ralliart Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX, which marked a rare sealed-surface outing for the experienced Japanese pilot.

“It was good fun and, maybe if there is the chance, I would like to do some more [IRC] rallies in the future,” said Nutahara.

Meanwhile, Yokohama continues its IRC bid when Çetinkaya, who was 39th in Zlín, tackles Rallye Sanremo from September 23-25 in her Peugeot Sport Turkey-run 207 S2000.
