Meeke leads after opening loop
After SS3
Jan Kopecký made it three different winners from three stages by topping the times through the 11.83-kilometre Teror test in his Škoda Fabia Super 2000.
Out front, Kris Meeke continues to lead in his Peugeot UK 207 after setting an identical time to Juho Hänninen.
Meeke’s lead on the fourth round of the Intercontinental Rally Challenge after the opening loop of stages stands at 3.7 seconds, with Kopecký now one-tenth of a second behind Hänninen in third.
Bruno Magalhães was fourth but has slipped back to sixth after his 207 was struck down by transmission problems. His misfortune has promoted Guy Wilks and Alberto Hevia into fourth and fifth places respectively.
Wilks dropped time on stage two when his Fabia’s brakes began to fade. He reported that the rear of his car was sliding around too much on stage three.
