along with his Ford Focus RS World Rally Car
Stobart M-Sport Ford Rally Team driver Matthew Wilson will attend Rallyfest North Wales which is being staged this weekend.
The festival, staged at Conwy and Llandudno, has been organised to promote the final round of this year’s FIA World Rally Championship – Wales Rally GB – and will give motorsport fans a taster of what they can expect to see later this month at what is one of Britain’s biggest sporting events.
Wilson, Britain’s leading FIA World Rally Championship driver, will be in attendance on Sunday along with his Ford Focus RS World Rally Car.
Saturday’s festival will run from midday until 4pm in the historic coastal town of Conwy. The event is free and spectators will get a chance to see a range of vehicles competing at this year’s Wales Rally GB.
The static display, set against the spectacular backdrop of Conwy Castle and the estuary, will be accompanied by driver question and answer sessions, competitions and a range of entertainment for people of all ages.
There will also be competitions run throughout the day and prizes will include passenger rides with Wilson on Sunday and tickets to this year’s Wales Rally GB.
Llandudno will be the setting for the Rallyfest action display from midday until 4pm on Sunday where Wilson will show off his skills as he performs live for fans on a closed-off section of the West Shore close to Dale Road.
Matthew Wilson is contesting this year’s Wales Rally GB from 11 – 14 November for the Stobart M-Sport Ford Rally Team and will pilot a Ford Focus RS WRC alongside co-driver Scott Martin.
