Bruno Magalhães fears his lack of experience of the Sardinian stages will hold him back when the Intercontinental Rally Challenge resumes on the Mediterranean island this weekend.

The Peugeot Sport Portugal driver has scored on all four rounds of the season so far in his 207 Super 2000 but is one of four drivers in the top 10 of the entry list with no prior knowledge of the event.

“Shakedown was good and we’re very pleased with the car and with the suspension,” said the Lisbon driver. “I am more confident because of this but my disadvantage is I don’t know this rally.”

He continued: “The first day is not so hard but the second day will be tough because of all the rocks. Starting in eighth on Saturday should be an advantage but I think it will be impossible to take advantage of this because I don’t know this rally.”
