Magalhães boosted by pre-Corsica test
“I think it can help me”
Bruno Magalhães says he is more confident as he prepares to make his Tour de Corse-E.Leclerc debut later today following a test on Corsica yesterday (Wednesday).
The Peugeot Sport Portugal star covered 70 kilometres during the session in his 207 Super 2000.
“For a driver it’s always good to be in the car and to get some kilometres, especially because I did not do a test before the rally,” said Magalhães. “To drive here is also important because you get more of a feeling after you have done the recce. The stages are difficult but I think it can help me.”
Škoda UK Motorsport’s Andreas Mikkelsen is another driver to have tested on Corsica. The Norwegian was behind the wheel of his Fabia Super 2000 on the island last Sunday (8 May).
