Karl Kruuda says RACMSA Rally of Scotland, which takes place for a third time this week, is one of the best events on the international calendar.

Based in Perth in the centre of the country, the Intercontinental Rally Challenge qualifier uses mainly undulating closed-forest roads famed for their fast and flowing nature.

“I drove last year in Scotland and it’s one of the greatest rallies,” said the Estonian teenager, who pilots a ŠKODA Fabia Super 2000 for the ME3 Rally Team. “Of course the landscape in Scotland is fantastic and you need to go and see it. But the roads are different from anywhere else. It’s a little bit like the rallies we have in Estonia but with tighter corners. There are no straights, always corners and it’s fantastic to drive, it’s a great feeling.”

After nine events, Kruuda is 12th in the standings with 15 points. RACMSA Rally of Scotland runs from 7-9 October.
