Kopecký back in control in Zlín

Jan Kopecký has imposed his authority on Barum Czech Rally Zlín once again by winning stage seven of the Intercontinental Rally Challenge event.

The Škoda Motorsport pilot was 1.7 seconds faster than Freddy Loix over the rain-hit 14.95-kilometre test, which has enabled the Czech to extend his lead over Bryan Bouffier to 28.4s. Kopecký´s last fastest time was on stage three.

Second place for Loix means his gap to third-placed Kris Meeke is down to 0.1s. Meeke set the third best time in his Peugeot UK 207.
