Giandomenico Basso (Italy), PROTON Satria Neo S2000: “The most important thing is to set the car up for the bumpy surface, and that means you have to do a lot of work with the suspension dampers. But we have made a lot of progress in that area, which we hope to confirm with a test in Czech Republic on Monday. We continue to improve and there is no reason why we cannot get a strong result.”

Jan Kopecky (Czech Republic), SKODA Fabia S2000: “It’s my home rally and I’m really excited. For the last two years we have been the quickest but in 2010 we made quite a small mistake and we finished in the forest but without any damage to the car. It’s a big and famous rally and we will get some great support from the Czech fans.”

Thierry Neuville (Belgium), Peugeot 207 S2000: “Having not done a rally for two months could be a problem but we will test for two days next week and that should allow me to get back into the rhythm. I know a bit the rally from last year although a lot of the stages are in a different direction. But having a Czech team-mate [Pavel Valousek] will really help for this rally.”
