GP2 series head to Budapest

One more win in the bag for Pastor Maldonado in Hockenheim means that he has increased even further his lead in the drivers’ standings and he is getting a step closer to the GP2 Series crown.

Strong and constant, since the opening of the season in Barcelona the Venezuelan and his
Rapax Team have worked hard and made little to no mistakes to be right at the top of the Series.

However, a speedy Mexican tries to stand in their way: Sergio Perez may be twenty-one points down,
but with three wins this season and a fighting spirit, he is gunning at the Venezuelan, knowing that it is never over till it’s over.

Another man who will not rest until Abu Dhabi is Dani Clos whose 2010 performance and determination so far have been quite impressive.

The seventh round of the season takes place this weekend in Budapest where hot temperatures
are expected.

The Hungaroring is the second shortest circuit on the calendar and it is known to be
relatively slow, with numerous low speed corners. The narrow and challenging track with very few
overtaking opportunities demands high traction, perfect car balance and mechanical grip.

All in all, it is the perfect setting for yet another thrilling GP2 Series race weekend!
