Forty-five crews will take part on the fifth round of the Intercontinental Rally Challenge in Sardinia next week.

Eighteen different nations will be represented on the gravel event, which marks the first time the Mediterranean island has been included on the IRC schedule.

Of the 10 manufacturers that feature on the list of registrations published by the event organisers, seven are eligible for IRC points. Only Proton, which joined the IRC last season, is not represented after delaying the start of its campaign until the Geko Ypres Rally in late June.
