Flying Meeke increases advantage

Defending Intercontinental Rally Challenge champion Kris Meeke leads Rally Islas Canarias by 14.4 seconds following a blistering run through the 24.85-kilometre Fontanales stage.

The Peugeot UK driver was 8.4 seconds faster than factory Škoda driver Jan Kopecký, who is now 5.1s ahead of third-placed Juho Hänninen.
