Coloni sign Alberto Valerio

Alberto Valerio will race with Scuderia Coloni in the GP2 Main Series 2010 season.

The 24 year-old Brazilian driver signed the agreement with the team in the past week and will indeed drive one of the Dallara-Renault cars raced by the Italian outfit throughout the season.

Valerio clinched his first GP2 victory at Silverstone last year with a dominating performance which resulted on a day of testing with Coloni at the end of the season in Jerez. There, Valerio posted the second fastest time of the whole three days.

In order to get acquainted with the team, Valerio will compete with Scuderia Coloni in the GP2 Asia Series next event, in Abu Dhabi on February 5-6; his first Main Series duty will be the official testing session in Le Castellet from March 23 to 25, while the first racing weekend will be on May 8-9 in Barcelona.
