Burcu Çetinkaya has vowed to “push harder” on the second day of the Geko Ypres Rally. The Peugeot Sport Turkey driver completed leg one of the Intercontinental Rally Challenge qualifier in 33rd overall in her 207 Super 2000.
She said: “This has always been a difficult event for me because on my two previous visits here I crashed. Because of this I started too slow yesterday so I have to push harder today.”
Çetinkaya said her Yokohama-shod Peugeot had run faultlessly throughout Friday although the clutch had to be replaced in the day-closing service.
