Cecotto with Super Nova in GP2 Asia Series

Super Nova Racing’s driver line up for GP2 Asia 2011 is complete after securing the signature of Venezuelan talent Johnny Cecotto Jr. Having finished third in the 2008 ATS Formel 3 Cup, Johnny had his first taste of GP2 machinery in 2009 where he impressed at his first race weekend in Monza. Last year Johnny again showed his ability at GP2 level, whilst enduring a troubled season. Super Nova is confident that his talent can be realised in GP2 Asia and hope that this relationship can be carried on into the Main Series.

Johnny Cecotto: “First of all I am very, very happy to be working with such an important team in International motorsport. It will be a tough GP2 Asia championship, with all of the Main Series drivers involved but my target is the top three and I am confident that we can achieve this.”
