Andreucci takes first stage win

Kris Meeke continues to lead Rallye Sanremo but his overall advantage has been trimmed to 1.8s with Paolo Andreucci, who won the 14.28-kilometre Bignone stage, moving ahead of Juho Hänninen into second place.

Giandomenico Basso is fourth overall in the first of two Abarth Grande Puntos with Bryan Bouffier fifth after going second fastest through the stage in his Peugeot 207.

Third fastest time for Belgian Freddy Loix propels the Škoda Motorsport driver from ninth to seventh overall, 2.1s adrift of sixth-placed Luca Rossetti.

Although it is no longer raining, the stage surface remains greasy.

Crews are now heading back to service in Sanremo with the first car due to arrive at 15:38hrs local time.
