Andreucci close to Sanremo win
News after SS10
Peugeot Italia driver Paolo Andreucci has moved 27.4s clear at the top of the Rallye Sanremo leaderboard with one stage remaining after Giandomenico Basso was slowed when his Abarth Grande Punto developed a rear differential problem on the penultimate test.
Basso has dropped to sixth place with team-mate Luca Rossetti falling to fifth after he suffered a slow front-right puncture on the same stage.
As a result Škoda Motorsport’s Juho Hänninen has climbed to second with Kris Meeke up to third.
