After SS8: Hänninen quickest again in Yalta

Juho Hänninen has increased his lead of the Prime Yalta Rally to 12.9s over Bryan Bouffier after going fastest on Friday’s final stage. The Finn was 5.3s quicker than Thierry Neuville with Bouffier third fastest on the 28.95-kilometre Orlinoje stage.

Hänninen’s Škoda Motorsport team-mate Jan Kopecký reported a powersteering fault on his Fabia Super 2000 and slipped back, while a puncture delayed his closest challenger Guy Wilks in a Peugeot UK 207.

Andreas Mikkelsen has climbed ahead of Wilks for fourth despite suffering a high-speed spin. Patrik Sandell was delayed by another puncture on his Škoda Sweden-backed Fabia.
