After SS6: Bouffier leads as Neuville fights

Bryan Bouffier continues to lead the Prime Yalta Rally after posting the second fastest time on stage six, the repeat of the 17.26-kilometre Ai-Petri stage.

The Peugeot France driver is now 2.9s clear of Juho Hänninen with Jan Kopecký a further 18.4s further back in third.

Thierry Neuville hit back from his delay on stage five by going 5.4s faster than any of his rivals through the test. He remains in ninth overall.

Andreas Mikkelsen was third fastest through the stage in his Škoda UK Motorsport Fabia to move into fifth position ahead of Toni Gardemeister in a similar Fabia.

Giandomenico Basso is back on form in his factory PROTON Satria Neo following repairs to his car’s broken powersteering at service. The Italian was eighth quickest on the stage. However, his team-mate PG Andersson is running out of order due to an oil pressure problem at the end of the previous test, which delayed his departure from midday service while repairs were made.
