Jan Kopecký has hit back in his efforts to safeguard third place on the Prime Yalta Rally by going quickest on stage 10, his first fastest time on the Intercontinental Rally Challenge round.

The Škoda UK Motorsport Fabia driver is now 24.5s clear of fourth-placed Andreas Mikkelsen heading to the final stage of Saturday morning’s loop.

In the battle for first, Peugeot 207 driver Bryan Bouffier is now 8.8s behind leader Juho Hänninen by going 6.1s quicker than the Finn through the stage.
