2WD Cup: Hunt aiming for consistency

M-Sport Fiesta R2 driver Harry Hunt shrugged off the effects of last night´s rear brake fire as he looked forward to today´s action in the 2010 RACMSA Rally of Scotland. Hunt is currently lying second on the road (18th overall) behind the rapid Honda Civic Type R of Siim Plangi and eight points behind 2WD Cup leader Kevin Abbring, who is not entered in Rally of Scotland.

"We aren’t sure what caused the fire," said Hunt. "We had new pads in so it may just have been dust or something. All we can do is hope it will be okay.

"He [Plangi] is very quick, but that car has 256bhp and we’ve got 170, so we’ve just got to let him go off and do his thing. I’m aiming to be consistent and just to get to the finish, and we’ll see where we are."
