Indian telcom to sponsor Delhi GP

Airtel will shortly be confirmed as the naming sponsor for the inaugural Indian grand prix.

New Delhi based Bharti Airtel, which also sponsors the leading English football team Manchester United, is the fifth largest telecom operator in the world.

Many grands prix, including Canada, Valencia, Japan, Korea and Brazil do not have naming sponsors at present.
