Second stage best for Kopecký

Jan Kopecký has continued his impressive start to Barum Czech Rally Zlín by winning Saturday’s opening stage, the 9.01-kilometre Biskupice stage.

The factory Škoda Motorsport driver was 2.8s faster than team-mate and Intercontinental Rally Challenge leader Juho Hänninen. Kopecký’s overall advantage is now five seconds.

Bryan Bouffier moves up to third after a strong run through the stage in his Peugeot 207 S2000. Freddy Loix is fourth with Kris Meeke fifth.
