The last race of the season in Motorland Aragon had a bittersweet result for Jaime Alguersuari, Formula 1 driver and SEAT ambassador that competed for the first time behind the wheel of a SEAT León Supercopa teamed up with Arnau Merlos. A technical problem during free practice has forced the team to replace the engine, which prevented them from taking part in qualifying, forcing them to start from the pitlane.

That problem has broken all the plans, but has opened a new race in which Jaime and Arnau have been attacking and constantly recovering positions, which led them to the seventeenth final position, fourth in the D1 division. To highlight the strong presence of drivers at the wheel of a SEAT, twelve of the top twenty in the final standings.

Jaime Alguersuari: "It was a pity, but the problem on the engine has prevented us from taking part in qualifying. The start from the last position has prevented us from fighting for the victory or the podium, but we ran four hours flat out, recovering many positions. The feeling with the car have been magnificent and the experience, despite everything, has been exciting and positive. To drive a SEAT Leon Supercopa flat out has been the best."
