Grosjean will drive for DAMS again at Monza

Gravity Sport Management is delighted to announce that Romain Grosjean is now part of his programme, with the aim of finding a place in top-level single-seater racing in the future. It is the start of a new stage in the Franco-Swiss driver’s career who has raced in AutoGP, the FIA GT1 Championship as well as the GP2 Series this year.

This weekend, Romain Grosjean will drive for DAMS in the GP2 Series event on the Monza circuit, in Italy. The doctors who have been following Ho-Pin Tung since his accident in Budapest feel that he is not yet sufficiently recovered to start racing again.

Gravity Sport Management was founded in Luxembourg in 2008. In addition to sports career management, the Gravity Academy programme takes full charge of its drivers to ensure their constant improvement whether it is a question of their driving technique, their physical fitness training, their familiarization with the economic aspects of motor sport or their relations with the world of the media. The company’s 2010 drivers are competing in the GP2 Series, the F3 Euro Series, Formula BMW, AutoGP, karts and the German IDM125 Championship.

Romain Grosjean: “This agreement with Gravity Sport Management is a great opportunity for me, and I’m very happy to be able to take advantage of it. Such a partner will enable me to concentrate on my return to top-level single-seater racing, and I hope to attain my main aim, which is still Formula 1. This weekend’s mission will be to build on the promising performance on the Spa-Francorchamps circuit on which Jérôme and I showed the team’s and car’s potential. A victory would be a marvellous reward for the efforts invested over the last few weekends by everybody. One thing’s sure. Monza’s a circuit that I like; it’s a very quick track and I’m prepared to give the maximum.”
