Swiss racer Fredy Barth was given a 5-position grid penalty for today’s Race 1. The penalty was awarded following the SUNRED team applied for an engine change on Barth’s León 1.6T.
The Swiss will be demoted from 10th to 15th.
The Stewards also decided to allow Fabio Fabiani, Philip Ma and Charles Ng to take part in the races, despite they did not comply with the qualification maxima in Saturday’s qualifying session.
