Penalty for Oriola, Basseng and Karamyshev

Three drivers were penalized by the Stewards for taking a false start in today’s first race at the Moscow Raceway.

Pepe Oriola, Marc Basseng and Nikolay Karamyshev, all at the wheel of SEAT cars, were given a 30-second time penalty.

This dropped Oriola – the only one of them who had scored points in the race – from eighth to 18th, while James Nash, Tom Chilton and Stefano D’Aste all moved up by one place.
