Williams garages catch fire after race!

The Williams garages have caught fire as the race celebrations were carried out after Pastor Maldonado won Sunday’s Spanish Grand Prix. Emergency vehicles have swarmed the pit-lane, with officials directing onlookers away as the Williams garage smoulders on.

Luckily Sir Frack Williams, who was allegedly in the garage at the time carrying out the celebrations, was wheeled out of the garage immediately, however there is unconfirmed reports that a Force India mechanic has been taken to hospital.

With an acrid smell to the smoke which billowed out of the garages, many including Sky Sports F1 HD’s Natalie Pinkham have speculated that it could have been a KERs related issue.

More to come as this story unfolds…
