Reports - LA Lakers player could buy HRT

Although Thesan Capital recently bought HRT, the Spanish team could be set for yet another change of ownership in the very near future.

AS and El Economista newspapers say the buyer is Pau Gasol, a famous Spanish basketball player for the famous NBA team Los Angeles Lakers.

The reports said Gasol, 31, has an opportunity to snap up HRT for EUR 48 million given that investment group Thesan has not yet formalised its deal.

As an existing small shareholder, Gasol - through his rights management company Wasermann Media Group and with links to Chinese company Erdos - reportedly has the right of first refusal until August 22.
