Norwegian debut for Scuderia Ferrari
Ferrari to showcase F1 car in Norway
It’s Scandinavian week in Maranello. Last Wednesday came the news that Finland’s Kimi Raikkonen is returning to the team, while this weekend a Ferrari Formula 1 car will be on track in Norway. Marc Gene will be the star of the Rudskogen Motorfestival, the most important Norwegian motoring event, which takes place on a 3.254 kilometre track, designed by Hermann Tilke, near the city of Rakkestad.
With support from the F1 Clienti department, Marc will drive an F10 and will do two demonstration runs on Saturday and again on Sunday. It will be the first appearance for Scuderia Ferrari in Norway with its race car. It’s participation in the Rudskogen Motorfestival has been organised in conjunction with Santander Bank. This year, the Scuderia has already taken part in events like this in Poland, Israel and Russia, as they provide a great way of bringing the general public closer to Formula 1, especially in countries where the chance of seeing cars from the highest level of motor sport do not happen too often.
