Montezemolo demands improvement

There’s no time to lose after such a hard start to the championship for Scuderia Ferrari. Stefano Domenicali has already returned to base with some of the team’s engineers. Thanks to the change in time zones, they will have practically the whole day available to work alongside their colleagues who stayed at the Maranello base.

They will now analyse both the last race and the development programme for the 150° Italia heading into the start of the European season. At Maranello Luca di Montezemolo has planned a long day’s work with all of them to take stock of the situation. It’s clear that the Ferrari president is far from satisfied, as he confirmed in a declaration released to ferrari.com, in which he took the chance to invoke a reaction from all involved.

“This cannot and must not be the team’s level,” said Montezemolo. “It’s a very delicate moment. I expect our engineers to act with determination and know-how, unleashing the maximum of their capacity to improve the performance of the car in a short time. I want Ferrari to be at the level that both we and our fans demand it should be.”
