First day on the virtual track for Massa

There are only eight days to go to the British Grand Prix and at Ferrari, work is ongoing on all fronts to be as well prepared as possible for an event with one of the greatest histories on the world championship calendar.

For Felipe Massa, the time has come to get back into the cockpit of a Formula 1 car, even if in this case it’s only a virtual one: a lot of hours in the simulator and a long time talking to his engineers to analyse the data from the last few races was on the Brazilian’s agenda, starting this morning in Maranello.

It’s hard work, which is not always much fun, but Felipe goes about it with a smile on his face that has always been part of his character: he knows just how important it is to go into everything in great detail prior to the next back-to-back races, as the German event follows on just one week after the one in Silverstone.

The second race takes place at the Nurburgring this year, as the German GP alternates on a yearly basis between two tracks.

The only downside for Felipe was that he was unable to watch the Brazil-Mexico match live in the second round of the football Confederations Cup, taking place in the South American venue, as he was on a flight from Sao Paolo to Europe.
