Campos Meta seeking solutions
“We are working very hard to be in Bahrain”
Rumours persist that Campos Meta may not make the first round of the 2010 championship in Bahrain next month, despite having contracts in place with Dallara for the construction of the race car and Bruno Senna to lead the team on track.
"We are trying to have everything solved on Monday - and people are saying a lot of stupid things," former F1 racer Adrian Campos told the BBC. "Some are true and some are not. We are working very hard to be in Bahrain."
The former F1 driver went on to explain that he could not detail the plans, which are rumoured to involve A1 GP founder Tony Teixeira, due to confidentiality causes. He did however deny that the contract with Dallara is in jeopardy as the team try to solve its financial problems.
Should Campos Meta fail in its bid to race this year, Stefan GP are poised to take the team’s position.
