The front wing design of Sauber’s 2010 car was strengthened in the wake of the Australian grand prix last week.

Despite there being only a few days between Melbourne and Sepang, the Swiss team sent its full compliment of front wings back to Europe to have some changes made.

Kamui Kobayashi had three wing failures at Albert Park last week, including on the first lap when he spectacularly took out two competitors.

He said there is nothing fundamentally wrong with the design, "we just have to make it stronger".

The Japanese is also using a completely new chassis at Sepang in the wake of his Melbourne crash.
