Alain Menu set for home race
a demonstration at the Course Automobile de Romont
Like all the Swiss drivers, Alain Menu has not many opportunities to race in his home country. Despite a great motorsport tradition, Switzerland has no racing tracks and laws that limit motorsport to a few rallies and hill-climbing events.
However, Menu will have the chance to delight his country-fellow fans when he will take part in a demonstration at the Course Automobile de Romont, in the Fribourg canton on June 12th and 13th, driving a two-seater Chevrolet Cruze WTCC. The Geneva-born driver will be the guest of honor of the 40th edition of this traditional event.
For the time being, Menu is completely focused on the forthcoming start of the WTCC season and will carry out the last testing session in Valencia, on February 17th and 18th, alongside team mates Robert Huff and Yvan Muller.
