H+5 : Armindo retakes the lead in LM GTE Am

Peugeot still leads the Spa-Francorchamps 1000 kms in LM P1 and victory looks on the cards for the French manufacturer as its three 908s are in the first 3 places.

There was a brief alert in the French camp when Pedro Lamy in the no. 9 908 went off, but he was able to restart. Simon Pagenaud who took over from the Portuguese is lying third after 5 hours. The 908 owes this position to a long pit stop by the no. 3 Audi R18 TDI which had to have its engine cover changed.

TDS Racing and Boutsen Energy Racing continue their duel in LM P2, and it looks like victory will go to one the two Oreca 03-Nissans.

In Formula Le Mans, Zhang Shanqi is still in front for Hope Racing followed by the Pegasus Racing FLM-Oreca 09 driven by Mirco Schultis.

The biggest change has been in LM GTE Am as Nicolas Armindo ,who took over from Raymond Narac in the no. 67 IMSA Performance Matmut Porsche, is driving a fantastic final stint. He is lapping in the same times as the Pros and leads the GTE AMs with an hour to go to the finish.
