Engine changes for Chilton, Nash and Kano
All three drivers will be placed at the back of the starting grids
Three drivers have been forced to change the engine on their racing cars. Team Aon’s Tom Chilton and James Nash received fresh units on their Ford Focus cars on Friday afternoon.
Yesterday, after the qualifying session, Liqui Moly Team Engstler also decided to change the engine on Masaki Kano’s BMW 320si.
As a consequence, all three drivers will be placed at the back of the starting grids for both today’s races.
Nash and Chilton have been demoted from 19th and 21st to 21st and 22nd respectively, while Kano has retained his 23rd and last position.
