Ford driver Jari-Matti Latvala has claimed his fourth fastest stage time on Rally d’Italia Sardegna by going quickest on the second Monte Lerno test.

The Finn edged Citroen driver Sebastien Loeb by 0.6s with team-mate Mikko Hirvonen third fastest.

As a result Loeb will take a lead of 29.8s over Hirvonen in Saturday’s final stage with Sebastien Ogier third, 4.7s further back.
