Positive results for Volvo in Japan

At Okayama Robert Dahlgren’s Vovo C30 finished both races in 10th and 6th position, the best results ever for the Swedish Manufacturer in WTCC.
"The car performed really well on this track and this was a perfect kick off for next year," said Dahlgren.

After staying cosistently among the top drivers in the practice sessions, the Swede qualified 14th and then was dropped ten positions on the grid because of an engine change. Without that penalty he could have possibly achieved even better results.

"These results made a great end to the season. We were disappointed by our previous WTCC apperances, but this weekend gave us the boost we need for 2011," said Dahlgren.

Team manager Christian Dahl commented: "We are more than pleased. We have worked hard on this project and we had a confirmation of the fact that we can be competitive in WTCC."

"It was great to see the team working forward to these results. They are more than ready for their development season in WTCC and we are looking forward to follow their progress next year," said Magnus Jonsson, Chairman of the Motorsport Board at Volvo Car Corporation.
