FIA revises the compensation weights
Benefiting most BMW cars
The FIA has issued an amended list of the compensation weight for the final event in Macau.
Following the decision taken last Friday by the International Court of Appeal, the only BMW 320si cars listed to carry 40 extra kilos are Andy Priaulx’s and Augusto Farfus’.
All the other BMW 320si cars in new specs will not be given any additional weight, according to the lap times set in the events at Oschersleben, Valencia and Okayama, while the BMW 320si cars in old specs will benefit from a 10kg reduction.

± 0 kg BMW 320si (except cars n.10 and 11, +40 kg)
- 10 kg BMW 320si (old model)
- 20 kg Chevrolet Lacetti
