Cetinkaya set for second IRC run (...)

Burcu Cetinkaya, the only female driver to score points in the Intercontinental Rally Challenge, plans to build on the experience she gained at the wheel of her SKODA Fabia Super 2000 in Scotland earlier this month when she contests the Cyprus Rally from 3-5 November.

Cetinkaya, 30, made history when she became the first female to score IRC points on Rally of Scotland last season. She made her first start in this year’s IRC on the gravel event, which also marked her first competitive experience in a Fabia S2000.

The Yokohama-supported driver said: “The conditions in Scotland were difficult and it was a long time since I drove”, said the Turkish driver. “I am getting faster and faster and this is good for Cyprus.”
