Brno - Warm-up: Dahlgren chases Muller

It was not a surprise to see Yvan Muller topping the time sheet once again after this morning’s warm up. The Frenchman continued his domination in the Czech weekend and posted the fastest lap in the 15-minute session, just like he had done yesterday in both practices and the qualifying.

However, Muller’s lap time of 2:10.288 was only 0.071 seconds faster than Robert Dahlgren’s 2:10.299, which proved that the Volvo C30 with the 1.6-litre turbo engine has the potential to compete for top positions.

Rob Huff was classified third (2:10.541) ahead of Norbert Michelisz’s BMW (2:10.869); the Hungarian driver is eager to make up from the disappointing exclusion from yesterday’s qualifying.

Michel Nykjær set the fifth fastest lap of 2:10.870 emerging as the best of the SUNRED patrol. The Spanish team have finally solved the technical problems on Tiago Monteiro’s car, while Fredy Barth’s León is still suffering from an engine bug.
